Hamdi Alkan was born on January 16, 1967, in Antakya, Hatay, Turkey. He is a well-known actor, director, and producer, recognized for his contributions to Turkish comedy television programs, films, and series. He gained widespread fame with his show "Hamdi Alkan TV", which ran for ten years, and his portrayal of the Gazman character. Since 2008, he has also directed several movies and TV series.

Early Life and Education

Hamdi Alkan is the youngest of six siblings. His father, Ali Alkan, was a court officer, while his mother, Helva Alkan, was a housewife. He completed his primary, middle, and high school education in Antakya.

From a young age, Alkan dreamed of becoming an actor. During his school years, he developed a love for books, swimming, and basketball. His passion for acting grew as he participated in school plays. Despite his interest in the arts, he pursued Electrical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. To support himself during university, he sold books at Sahaflar Çarşısı in Beyazıt Square.
